Sort Text Tool

This tool allows you to sort text lines alphabetically (A-Z or Z-A) with several advanced options.

What is Text Sorting?

Text sorting is the process of arranging lines of text in a specific order, most commonly alphabetical. This is incredibly useful for organizing lists, data, code, or any text-based information.

Instead of manually moving lines around, this tool automates the entire process. You can paste any list, and the tool will instantly rearrange it based on your chosen rules (like ascending order, case sensitivity, or removing duplicates).

How to Use This Tool

1. Paste Text: Paste the text you want to sort into the “Input Text” box on the left. Each line will be treated as a separate item to sort.
2. Set Options:
- Sort Order: Choose “Ascending” to sort from A to Z, or “Descending” for Z to A.
- Case Sensitive: If checked, “A” will come before “b”. If unchecked (default), “a” and “A” are treated as the same, and “a” will come before “B”.
- Remove Duplicates: Check this to remove any lines that are identical.
- Remove Empty Lines: This is checked by default. Uncheck it if you want to keep blank lines in your list.
3. Click “Sort Text”: The sorted text will instantly appear in the “Sorted Output” box on the right.
4. Copy Result: Click the “Copy Result” button to copy the sorted text to your clipboard.
